In 2020, the World Economic Forum released "Schools of the Future: Defining New Models of Education for the Fourth Industrial Revolution," which highlights the need to mobilize new forces to transform education, establish broad and innovative alliances, promote institutional change, and mentions eight key transformations for future schools. One of these transformations is "Accessible and Inclusive Learning."

This year, the "Schools of the Future Tour@Inclusive Education" organized an exchange meeting called "Social Innovation x Community x School @Energising Kowloon East" at the Church of Christ in China Kei Shun Special School. Its aim was to transform local schools into inclusive and accessible learning environments, ensuring that every "special" student has equal opportunities for education and growth. The event included a campus tour, showcasing the school's teaching facilities and learning environment, followed by interactive sessions where social innovators and teachers explored how to engage in special education, promote school innovation and development, and respond to the needs of students and the community using interdisciplinary resources.

Through this event, participants gained a deeper understanding of the latest developments in local special education and how schools adopt diverse teaching strategies and design instructional materials to cater to a range of students' needs.

The event was co-organised with Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES) and sponsored by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, HKSAR.
