With the latest change in the preferences and habits of travellers, Hong Kong government has been encouraging and supporting a more in-depth itinerary design to address travellers’ needs and showcase the city’s diversified cultural landscape.

Collaborated with Dream impact and partnered with Kaifong Tour, the SE Lab@ Sham Shui Po - “How do we foster sustainable development at Sham Shui Po through Industrial Tourism?” was held successfully on 29 February to explore the promotion of Industrial Tourism showcase the industrial landscape in Sham Shui Po and the relationship between Industrial Tourism and sustainable development.

Various stakeholders related to Sham Shui Po and industrial tourism were invited to share their views including “Best Practices in Sustainable Industrial Tourism”, “Corporate’s Roles in District Sustainability Development”, “Innovative Approaches to Visitor Engagement”, and “The Synergy between Industrial Tourism and Re-industrialisation”; Following the panel discussion, there was a Route Designing Workshop for participants to learn the techniques of designing a travel itinerary and co-create travel itinerary for Sham Shui Po.
