The workshop targeted to raise awareness and promote social inclusiveness within the concept of a "Smart City" in Hong Kong. While the "Smart City" concept was widely acknowledged, it often overlooked the importance of social inclusiveness. By highlighting the principles of universal design and advocating for an "Inclusive Smart City," this workshop aimed to inspire and encourage social innovation among secondary school students.
A total of 30 students were recruited for the workshop, and they actively participated in discussions and activities related to creating an inclusive Smart City that benefitted all members of society.
