This year, seven teams from four secondary schools in the Yuen Long District are participating in the competition. Through the competition, students can learn about the operations of non-profit organisations and apply design thinking to tailor innovative ideas for the case organisation, the NTWJWASSDL Pak U Neighbourhood Elderly Centre. They will inject new operational ideas and drive community innovation,creating a win-win situation. The competition also has a mentorship program, in which mentors with management or business knowledge provide advice to students as they research cases and find solutions. The winning team will receive funding to implement the plan for the case organisation in 2024.
