SE Programme @ Tuen Mun – E-sport Mini

“E-sport Mini” invited students in Tuen Mun to design reaction light for elderly in the same community to have reaction training without the limitation of time and space. The program aimed to foster intergenerational connections, nurture student entrepreneurial mindset, enhance students' knowledge of IOT Technologies, and introduce urban sports in Tuen Mun community.

During this programme, students learned the basic of IoT technologies to create reaction light and the characteristic of the physical condition and behaviour of elderly. Students actively engaged in learning and apply their knowledge to designed reaction training games on the reaction light system that was suitable and enjoyable for elderly. Upon the successful completion of designing various reaction training game, students would visit elderly in the community to introduce their reaction training game and their reaction light system and have training together.

Overall, E-sport Mini programme successfully fostered intergenerational connections, equipped participants with valuable knowledge and skills in technologies, and promoted urban sport in the community of Tuen Mun.
