Dough Figurine Sculpture is a traditional craft that uses steamed flour to create colourful sculptures of people or animals and has been included in the First Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventory of Hong Kong.

This year, The Wong Tai Sin SE Lab aimed to promote intergenerational harmony and awareness of intangible cultural heritage preservation by having primary school students become intangible cultural heritage ambassadors and led the elderly in experiencing dough figurine sculpture. A sharing session conducted for student representatives to share their training experiences and showcase their intangible heritage artworks co-created with the elderly. In addition, the Chair of the Great China Intangible Cultural Heritage Association, Mr. Luk, shared his experience on intangible cultural heritage preservation.

After the sharing session, all participants played a SGDs card game, which allowed them to experience achieving sustainable development goals with limited resources, promoting balanced development in the economy, environment, and society with other players.

The event was co-organized with Fullness Social Enterprises Society (FSES) and sponsored by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, HKSAR.
