Social entrepreneurship is regarded as a good solution to solve social problems, and it is gaining attention all over the world. To succeed in long-term development, social entrepreneurs cannot maximize social benefits alone, cross-sector collaboration among policy makers, business, Civil society, and the academia is significate. If all sectors cooperate effectively, it will generate a win-win synergy and enhance social impact. Moreover, it will allow other sectors to use their own knowledge and resources to support social enterprises in various ways so that they can continue to develop.
We invited 12 social entrepreneurs who work for "Elderly", "Youth", and "Inclusion" to share their experience, business model, as well as future visions and difficulties. We hope that through a strategic planning workshop, all sectors can come together, contribute their resources and networks to solve social problems and achieve a better future for Hong Kong.
