If you are a fashion and handcraft lover, then you must know Sham Shui Po, a paradise for crafters and artisans. However, do you know the history of Sham Shui Po as the core of Hong Kong’s textiles manufacturing industry?

Sham Shui Po Textile Industry Walking Tour led participants to explore sites related to textile industry in Sham Shui Po. Those sites included Yen Chow Street Hawker Bazaar, Sham Shui Po Design and Fashion Base, Sham Shui Po Fabric Market, Yu Chau Street (Bead Street), Ki Lung Street (Button Street), Tai Nan Street(Leather Street). Through this tour, the participants would enhance their knowledge of the history of the textile industry in Sham Shui Po and its present-day development.
