Wander is a senior executive in the consultancy industry with 20+ years’ business and management experience in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. With a passion for social development and sustainability, he is involved in advisory functions for strategy, business development and management. His professional goals are to bring more business acumen and skills to not-for-profit organizations and at the same time, instill more social awareness and CSR policies at commercial enterprises.  

Wander is Director for GlobeScan and responsible for the operations and business of the company in Asia Pacific. GlobeScan is an international research consultancy which was established in 1987; it measures, understands, helps building valuable relationships of its clients with their stakeholders, and to work collaboratively in delivering a sustainable and equitable future. GlobeScan provides evidence-led strategic counsel that understands the drivers, dynamics and outcomes of these relationships and networks, to make sense of the external context. With this, the corporation assists its clients to develop an integrated strategy to build a stronger reputation and optimize societal impacts, and further defining what is means to be in business. GlobeScan is an employee owned company and a B Corporation.

Wander hails from the Netherlands, he is married with 2 children and started his working career in Hong Kong in 1999.  In 2007 he moved with his family for 4 exciting years to Buenos Aires and returned to his ‘home’ Hong Kong in 2011. He loves traveling, scuba diving, trekking & hiking. And the history of the development of humankind: ‘Why are some countries rich and others poor?’ – especially, what we can do about it.
