Vicky WOO

Ms Vicky Woo is a BBA at the Chinese University of Hong Kong majored in General Business Management and minored in Finance.  She holds a Master of Commerce at The University of New South Wales, Australia, as well as a Graduate Diploma of IT at The South Australia University.  Vicky is a Fellow of CPA Australia (Certified Practising Accountant) and working as Senior Finance Manager in the Hong Kong Housing Authority.

Since joining Rotary in 2016, Vicky has been participating in service projects closely related to social enterprises.  She and her team provided free consultancy services to a social enterprise of The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, and the social enterprise turned loss into profit after 18 months (from September 2016 to June 2018).  When Vicky become President of a Rotary Club in District 3450 in Rotary year 2018-19, she organized a Social Enterprise Doctor (SED) project.  A total of 14 Rotary Clubs participated in this project which provided free consultancy services to nine social enterprises.  The SED project was awarded as Project of the Year by Rotary International (RI) District 3450 in 2018-19.

Vicky strongly believes in the motto of Rotary - “Service Above Self”, and she is actively serving RI District 3450.  She is District Chair of Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, Deputy District Secretary (Learning & Development), OC member of District THE ONE Committee, Secretary of International Fellowship of Flying Rotarians (HK Squadron) in Rotary year 2020-21.  At the meantime, Vicky is forming a Rotary Club which will be focus on serving social enterprises and hope to contribute more with like-minded people.
