
Valerie HANNON
Ms Valerie Hannon is a global thought leader, inspiring systems to re-think what ‘success’ will mean in the 21st century, and the implications for education. As the co-founder of Innovation Unit and of the Global Education Leaders Partnership, Valerie is a radical voice for change, whilst grounded in a thorough understanding of how education systems currently work.
Currently, she is also Senior Adviser to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in its Education 2030 project. She is a regular keynote speaker and facilitator at international conferences and workshops, drawing upon her substantial research and publications, including: Learning A Living: radical innovation in education for work (2013); Redesigning Education: shaping learning systems around the globe (2014); Local Learning Ecosystems (2019).
Her last book, THRIVE: schools reinvented for the real challenges we face (2017) will be published in a second edition by Cambridge University Press in early 2021. Her latest book Can Schools Save Us? will appear later that year.
