Assistant Social Innovation Manager, Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Ms Rain Luk is a seasoned professional in healthcare and administrative management, boasting a multifaceted background in both the private and public healthcare sectors, supplemented by her administrative management experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) from The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, a Bachelor of Laws from BPP University, UK, and a Master of Laws (Medical Ethics and Law) from the University of Hong Kong.

At present, she is employed as an Assistant Social Innovation Manager at the Office of Research and Knowledge Transfer Services at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She plays a pivotal role in pioneering innovation and entrepreneurship. She works in concert with a variety of stakeholders to cultivate a culture of social innovation and entrepreneurship, and oversees both the Knowledge Transfer Project Fund (KPF) and Sustainable Knowledge Transfer Fund (S-KPF). Since its inception in 2009, the KPF has backed over 280 projects, and the S-KPF has given rise to 23 social ventures applying professors' research outcomes to address community issues and creating social value and impact.
