Ovy SABRINA

After completing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Atma Jaya Catholic University, Ms Ovy Sabrina started her career by working in her 3-decade-old family-run concrete business where she learned from her father the knowledge of manufacturing and distribution of concrete blocks. She particularly concerns about Jakarta’s plastic waste problem including the use of multi-layered packaging, plastic bags, and soft plastics. To reduce waste, she devotes to make construction materials from waste. In early 2018, she and her partner Novita started to make recycled bricks. In November 2019, they launched their first product under the new company name Rebricks. The following year, Rebricks started to find its footing in Indonesia’s green architecture market. In July 2021, Rebricks soft-launched its second product Rebricks hollow blocks.
