Mr Eddie RONG

Eddie Rong is the Co-Founder of HEYCOINS, a FinTech start-up in the Big Bay Area of China and uses physical coins in circulation to lead the general public to the FinTech World. Born in Mainland China, Eddie came to Hong Kong 8 years ago and graduated from Lingnan University. He currently is a Senior Associate Certified Insurance Professional under Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Before setting up HEYCOINS, Eddie worked as Management Associate at FWD Life Insurance Company. He also has multi-sector experiences in various companies across China, Singapore, and the United States including: China Taiping Reinsurance (Hong Kong), Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Kunming City, China), Pan Pacific Hotels Group (Singapore) and Neusoft Corporation (Dalian, China). Eddie is committed to establish the start-up ecosystem in and beyond Hong Kong and has helped to promote social impacts investment under "The Belt and Road Initiative".
