Mathias WOO

Co-Artistic Director cum Executive Director, Zuni Icosahedron, HK

Mr Mathias Woo is a pioneer in Arts Tech Theatre in Asia. His theatre works have been invited to be presented in over 20 cities both on the mainland and internationally.

In 2009, Woo initiated and curated the Architecture is Art Festival, which was the first of its kind, themed on the exploration of the intersection between architecture and theatre arts in Hong Kong. He also launched the National Arts Education Programme, promoting traditional Chinese aesthetic concepts and their contemporary significance. Since 2017, Woo curated and designed the Z Innovation Lab, which focuses on integrating the latest stage technology with innovative ideas.
