LUO Yi

Growing up in cities, but focusing on rural China, Ms Luo Yi, the founder of the "Lao Tu" social enterprise, is committed to urban and rural sustainable development, especially consumer and youth education. She graduated with a master's degree in social science from the University of Chicago, a bachelor degree in environmental science and history from Claremont McKenna College. She is the youngest member in the China team of Homeward Bound, involved in various fields, including China and America's top environmental think-tank, grassroots environmental organisations, environmental protection projects, environmental law and investment institutions. She is 2018 UNEP China Youth Champion, 10 Excellent Youth of Shenzhen City and 2019 Top 10 Under 30 Social Innovator.
