Business Director, Hong Kong Council of Social Service

Dr Jessica Tam is the Business Director of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) where she has spearheaded a wide range of innovative initiatives in collaboration with the government, business, and NGO partners. Previously, she was in charge of the Social Enterprise Business Centre (SEBC), a tripartite platform promoting social entrepreneurship and social innovation in Hong Kong. Under her leadership, the HKCSS established SEBC, the first language-based Pay for Success Project in Asia, Good Goods social enterprise product trading platform, and Impact Incubator, an intermediary of the government’s Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund.

Jessica is serving as a member of the SES’s Organising Committee, SE Challenge’s Advisory Committee and Sustainable Knowledge Transfer Project Fund of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Jessica has been recognized for her contributions to the field, receiving the Secretary for Home Affairs’ commendation in 2018 and being selected for the AVPN Policy Fellowship program in Singapore in 2019. In 2020, she was named to Tatler's Asia Impact List, which recognizes the 100 most influential people in Asia.
