Iris has ten years worked in a leading social welfare organisation (HKCSS). Upon this, eight years in charge of a new social enterprise focusing on corporate training and public education to drive social change and social innovation. Signatures projects like ACT Social Awareness Network, Future Camp, HKCSS-Citi Community Intern Programme (CIP), Community Based Social Innovation for Youth (CSY), etc. Prior to this duty, she worked 3 years as research officer conducting research on social development and civic engagement.

Before the social welfare sector, she spent almost 3 years at the Chinese University of Hong Kong as a research officer. Initial 1.5 years were conducting community health and health education research. Then move to education faculty for a job of new curriculum design and education research.
