Irene SO

Ms Irene So is a mission-driven leader with 20+ years of experiences in launching new initiatives for social and philanthropic organizations at local and international levels, including Porticus Asia, Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, Oxfam and ZeShan Foundation.

Formerly a journalist at RTHK and SCMP, and a sponsored child, Irene has been reflecting on what works in the philanthropic sector. With formal training, she has hands-on experiences in social entrepreneurship, international development, disaster management, change management, strategizing and communication. In Southeast Asia, she co-created with different sectors many programmes and fostered cross-continental collaborations to address migration issues.
