Dodo CHENG

Founder, Sharing Kitchen, HK

Mr Dodo Cheng is a registered social worker passionate in community engagement and development. With the support of The Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund (SIE Fund), he founded the social enterprise “Sharing Kitchen HK” in 2016 and created great responses with the innovative ideas on sharing economy. “Sharing Kitchen HK” won the Outstanding Social Enterprise Award (Meritorious Award) of Social Enterprise Award Scheme 2017 hosted by Home Affairs Bureau. With the previous success, he secured another grant from SIE Fund in 2018 to expand the business and built a 6000 inch co-cooking space. Altogether, “Sharing Kitchen HK” has secured HK$ 8 million investment.

Dodo also serves as a visiting lecturer of School of Professional Education and Executive Development in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and a part-time supervisor of Department of Social Work in Hong Kong Baptist University. He is responsible for classes on management of social enterprise, community development and community economy.
