Practising globally as a cross-sector architect, Mr Brian Fok enjoys experimenting & executing cross-disciplinary ideas in his designs. Inspired and fascinated by the dynamic growth of Asian cities, he founded his studio MAIA | MAI Atelier in Hong Kong to re-discover new socio-cultural possibilities pivotal to the environment of future cities. He has been widely awarded: In 2018 he received the Los Angeles IDA award. In 2019, he won the Japan Good Design Award and A&D Trophy Award by Perspective.
Together with his partner Wayne, he has co-founded COMMA – an organisation exploring the social responsibility of designers. COMMA becomes a design platform connecting active citizens, launching design enhancement projects to build ideal liveable communities.
