Brian CHENG

Mr Brian Cheng is the Chief Executive Officer of Generation Hong Kong, which is a part of the global independent non-profit organization founded by McKinsey & Company. Since its launch in early 2018, he has been leading Generation Hong Kong which aims at transforming the education-to-employment system to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible, and to solve the talent mismatch and the future talent needs in Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Generation, he had been in the higher education sector over the past decade, leading the Asia operation of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the administrative functions of The Hong Kong Institute of Technology.  

He is passionate about supporting the youth and the community in various capacities. Currently, he serves as a council member of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, a member of the Advisory Committee on Gifted Education under The Education Bureau, and a member of the Honorary Advisory Committee of Enactus Hong Kong. He has also supported various social innovation competitions as a judge, mentor and advisor.

He holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
