Founder and Chairman, Teach For Hong Kong

Mr Arnold Chan is the founder of Teach For Hong Kong. Since 2015, the organization has recruited over 100 graduates as Fellows to teach in Hong Kong’s underprivileged schools, serving over 20,000 students.

He received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Before that, he worked 3 years as Institutional Sales in Goldman Sachs covering Greater China’s institutional clients such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, insurance companies and corporations. During his time at Goldman Sachs, he served as the captain of the firm’s Community TeamWorks and led partnership efforts with NGOs to organize interview workshops for secondary school students. He also worked for Teach For China’s development team and finance team and helped in applying Teach For China’s charity status in Hong Kong, setting its donor strategy and making financial projections.

His works with Teach For Hong Kong has earned him numerous recognitions, including Forbes 30 Under 30, Generation T List by “Hong Kong Tatler”, the Asia 21 2016 Class of Young Leaders by Asia Society, and Hong Kong Youth Service Award 2016.
