Social Innovation Workshop: Building Movement for Impact with New Power and New Values

The SES 2020 Theme - new normal · collective power - echoes with the challenges we are facing globally. Under the shadow of the prolonged social unrest of last year and the current pandemic of Covid-19, it is time to rethink and reimagine how social entrepreneurs could contribute to tackling social and societal problems in an innovative way. This workshop introduces the highly influential book “New Power: How It’s Changing the 21st Century and Why You need to Know About It”, by Jeremy Heimans and Henry Timms. Participants will be able to appreciate the importance of movement building. Anyone interested in leveraging new power and new values to create social impact is welcome to join the workshop.

Programme Outline
The interactive workshop enables participants to capture the essence of movement building.
This also provides a platform for participants to exchange ideas and formulate strategies in support of creating the New Normal.
