Lindy LEK

Lindy worked in investment banking in the Hong Kong and Tokyo offices of Goldman Sachs, in the areas of Corporate Finance, Equity Capital Markets and Equity Derivatives. After leaving as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, she turned her attention to the philanthropic sector.

While resident in Tokyo, Lindy was co-founder of the Tokyo Circle of Friendship Bridge (www.friendshipbridge.org), fundraising for the non-profit focused on microfinance in Guatemala. She was also a founding Board Member of a bilingual volunteer clearinghouse, Hands On Tokyo (www.handsontokyo.org) in 2006, an affiliate of the Hands On Network Points of Light Foundation. She served as a Board Member of Asia Initiatives (www.asiainitiatives.org), a fundraising organisation, in support of M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, focusing on microfinance of sustainable village enterprises in India.

Lindy graduated with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Brown University. She also has a M.A. in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
