Bosco NG

Bosco had acquired extensive experience in cross-cultural communication and management before he started his journey in social entrepreneurship.

He represented Hong Kong to participate in the Youth Peace Network program in Canada. Together with leaders from 18 countries, they developed multicultural education programs for children and youth in Canada to raise their global cultural awareness.

Back to Hong Kong, he realized that there was a lack of platform for cross-cultural communication and understanding, which lead to perceptions and misunderstandings among people with different cultural backgrounds. He established the social enterprise, WEDO GLOBAL, which is the Global Final 12 of the Global Social Venture Competition and the Grand Award Winner of the Social Venture Competition Asia. WEDO GLOBAL provides multicultural workshops, local walking tours and overseas experiential tours for education institutes, multinational companies, charitable and community organizations. Through these opportunities, participants can interact with people from different cultural backgrounds, which enhances their cultural sensitivity and global vision.

Since 2017, Bosco has been an appointed member of the Advisory Committee on Racial Equality and Integration of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC), a statutory body set up in 1996, to work towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of sex, marital status, pregnancy, disability, family status and race.

Due to his commitment and dedication to serving the Hong Kong society, Bosco was awarded the Hong Kong Youth Service Award 2017.
